APP PRIVACY POLICY — NEXUS POS
Nexus POS (“App,” “we,” “our,” “us”) is a point-of-sale application. This section explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
1) Information We Collect
Account
- Email and password required for sign-in.
Business profile (optional)
- Store name, address, phone number, and logo.
Transactions & Operations
- Items, prices, taxes/discounts, payments, customers, sales/returns.
- Inventory data and reports generated by the App.
Device/App Data
- Device type, OS version, App version, language/locale, time zone.
- Diagnostics, performance metrics, and crash logs.
Media You Create
- Receipt images or other media you save or share via the App.
Support & Communications (if you contact us)
- Message content, attachments you choose to send, and necessary contact details.
You can choose not to provide optional data; some features may be unavailable without certain information.
2) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide core POS features (checkout, inventory, customer profiles, receipts, reports).
- Authenticate users and secure the App (account protection, fraud/abuse prevention).
- Improve the App (diagnostics, analytics, crash/error resolution, performance tuning).

- Retention: We retain personal information only as long as needed to operate the App, meet legal/compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Deletion & Export:
- Delete local data via in-app tools or by uninstalling the App.

- No sale of personal data.

The App targets businesses and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us, and we will delete it.

- Manage data in-app: Update or delete local data using in-app tools.
- Permissions: You can revoke device permissions at any time.
- Account/Cloud data: Request deletion or export by contacting apps@zerobyte.ca.
